when i submitted this back in may of 2003, i didn't comment much on it... haha i was just starting to explore as an artist. and this idea popped into my head, and basically i went about doing it. there are a few things you should probably know about this picture before you go and judge it... there are three toy army men in this picture, at least two are visible, the third i believe is behind the fingers. this hand belongs to a 10 year old boy. it is not my hand, i got my little brother to be the model in this one. now the beast turns pale. you decide on this yourself.
i am updating for a few reasons, mainly for the print purposes. though i am not sure it will be quality enough for a print, but i am gonna try. the border also looks nice, and this was my first truly good peice of art and it's time it got a little fixed up

Actually it makes me think of those conspiracy theories about this current war in Iraq/Afghanistan and what it means for the next generation of Americans.
